Hey parents!

At City Chapel, we don't babysit kids on Sunday mornings. We empower families to raise up kids who love Jesus. That's why we have this resource to help you, as the parent, bring the teaching from Sunday morning to your dinner table.

Please read over the content with your kids and discuss how the lesson applies to their lives.

Be sure to check the challenge at the end. Thank you for taking the time to invest in your children's spiritual growth!

For toddlers (3-5yrs)

We have been teaching the kids about Creation this month.  Every Sunday, we break down what God created on each day.  This Sunday was day five of Creation.  God created all sorts of living creature to fill the water.  God also made every bird that flies in the sky.  Genesis 1:20-23

Parents, ask your kids to tell you about the craft that they created.

-What day did God create all of these animals in your craft?

-What are some of your favorite animals that live in the water?  Can you make the sounds that they make?

-What type of birds do you like?

-Do you know who created all of this creatures in the water and birds in the sky?

FOR ELEMENTARY (6-11YRS)

Compared to Bible heroes and superheroes, your child might feel like they don't have courage.  In the last 5 weeks, we learned what courage really is and how God can empower us when we put our trust in him.

Courage is bravery in the face of fear.  Courage is doing what's right even when no one else is.  Courage is never giving up on the directions that God has given us.  Courage is praying to see God's promises come true.  Courage is giving up everything in our lives as a sacrifice to God.
